Zaaz beachwear is a small woman-owned business based in the USA. Our line of clothing and accessories is designed and handmade in Morocco.

The inspiration behind the brand is my love for fashion and my country of origin. For me, this is not just a business; it's also a creative outlet and a way to share my rich multi-cultural background with my friends and people internationally. 

I was born in Marrakech, Morocco, grew up in France and moved to Chicago 22 years ago. The further I got away from Morocco, the more I missed its vibrant colors and style. As a result, my annual trips to visit family often turned into a designing and shopping spree to add some unique pieces to  my closet and allowed me to bring a part of home back with me.

I've often received compliments on the colorful clothes and accessories I wear daily; people were intrigued and kept asking me where they could buy my pieces. This led me to  create my brand to share my colorful style and honor my heritage! 

Each piece is carefully designed, handpicked, and handmade to give you that Moroccan flair.

In the Moroccan dialect, Zaaz is a sassy way to tell someone they look good. I chose to use this name as my brand because it reminds me of how great I felt when  I wore something nice, and someone told me, "Wow, zaaz"!
